The Meeting of the Technical Committee for the Development of Petroleum Materials Standards of the National Standards Authority was held

This meeting, attended by Mawlawi Mohammad Hanif the Head of the Standards Development and National Building Codes Directorate, the chairman of the respective committee and its members, took place in the Technical Meetings Hall of this authority.

During the meeting, discussions and exchanges of views were conducted regarding the development and finalization of the national standard for petroleum engine lubricants (INSO 22261-96). This standard, adapted from the 2017 edition of the National Standards Organization of Iran, was scientifically and technically reviewed using relevant testing methods, approved, and finalized.

The mentioned standard, aligned with international standards, serves as a technical and credible reference in the oil and transportation industries. Its objective is to enhance the quality and performance of engines, increase engine lifespan, reduce maintenance costs, and minimize environmental pollutants.
