The Technical Committee Meeting on Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Products of the National Standard Authority was held in the technical meeting hall of the Authority, with the presence of Mawlawi Mohammad Hanif Director of National Standards and Building Codes Development and Promotion, along with the committee chairman and its members.
During this meeting, discussions and exchanges of views were conducted regarding the Halal Pharmaceutical Products Standard – Part 1: General Requirements and other important technical topics.
Halal pharmaceutical products refer to medicines, dietary supplements and other health-related products that are produced in accordance with Islamic Halal laws and regulations. These standards ensure that the manufactured medicines and supplements comply with Islamic Sharia principles, scientific criteria and health regulations.
