Standard and Quality Authority Continues Follow-up Inspections of Pharmaceutical Factories
Alhaj Mullah Faizullah Tamim, Director General of the Standard and Quality Authority, led a joint oversight delegation to inspect three pharmaceutical manufacturing factories in Kabul.
Under the leadership of the Standard and Quality Authority and with the participation of professional representatives from the Ministry of Information and Culture, the Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the delegation conducted a comprehensive review of standard implementation, production methods, and product quality.
During the inspection, the leadership of the Standard and Quality Authority directly heard and assessed the existing challenges, needs, and obstacles faced by these factories.
Since these factories had been inspected previously, this latest visit was conducted as a follow-up assessment to measure the implementation of prior recommendations and evaluate the progress of necessary reforms.
The Standard and Quality Authority emphasizes that continuous oversight plays a vital role in improving medicine quality, increasing consumer confidence, and supporting standardized domestic production. This process will continue on a regular basis.
