Follow-up Inspection Process of the Standard and Quality Authority on Food Production and Sales Centers Continues

In line with standardizing the food and drug sector and improving the quality of domestic products, Alhaj Mullah Faizullah Tamim, Director General of the Standard and Quality Authority, along with a joint oversight delegation, inspected a food production center in Kabul.

The delegation, led by the Standard and Quality Authority and comprising professional representatives from the Ministry of Information and Culture, the Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority (Ministry of Public Health), and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, comprehensively reviewed the production process and the level of standard implementation at the relevant centers.

During this inspection, the leadership of the Standard and Quality Authority thoroughly listened to and assessed the existing problems and challenges faced by the center.

The Standard and Quality Authority emphasizes that continuous and purposeful oversight of production centers plays a fundamental role in enhancing food quality, protecting consumer health, and strengthening public trust in domestic products.

This process is part of the Authority's regular oversight programs aimed at strengthening the quality infrastructure, effectively implementing standards, and raising the level of domestic production and services in the country, and it will continue with full commitment.
