The Technical Committee Meeting on the Development of Petroleum Standards Held by the Afghanistan National Standards Authority

The meeting was attended by Mawlawi Mohammad Hanif, Head of the Standards Development and National Building Codes Department, the Chairman of the relevant committee, and its members. It was convened in the technical meeting hall of the ANSA.

During the meeting, discussions and exchanges of views were held regarding the standards for diesel engine lubricants and their testing methods. Key aspects of several critical methods were briefly reviewed, and the mentioned standard, along with 23 testing methods, was finalized by the committee members.

These testing methods include assessments of oxidation and corrosion resistance, methods for controlling deposits and oil consumption, tests related to aeration resistance, wear and corrosion tests for metallic components, and other specialized tests.
