The Technical Committee Meeting on the Development of Standards for Health and Medical Equipment Held

This meeting was held in the Technical Conference Hall of the National Standards Authority with the participation of Mawlawi Mohammad Hanif, Head of the Department for National Standards and Building Codes Development and Promotion, the Chairman of the relevant committee, and its members.

During the session, discussions and exchanges of views were held regarding the standard specifications for the reusable phase-change type fever thermometer for intermittent determination of human body temperature (ASTM E1299-96 Reapproved 2023), as well as other related topics.

Committee members discussed the technical aspects and specifications of this type of thermometer and provided valuable opinions for the finalization of this standard.
