Afghanistan National Standards’ board of leadership held meeting

 A meeting of leadership board was held under the leadership of Aziz Ahmadzai, Director General of National Standards.

The meeting was attended by the concerned directors and officers who presented their latest performance reports to the meeting.

Mr. Aziz Ahmadzai emphasized on increasing revenue and also mentioned the need for ensure transparency in the import of goods to the country. He said in order to increase revenue and achieve the goals of organization, urgent work is needed which needs to be done.

During the meeting, the issue of certification for exported goods was discussed, in which ANSA is responsible and all necessary means should be used to promote certificate.

Discussion on celebration of National Standards day were also part of the meeting and recommendation alongside responsibilities made to concerned departments.

In addition, complete, incomplete and upcoming projects were discussed and focused should be made for positive changes and acceleration of work.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Ahmadzai spoke comprehensively about on timing and effective practices and said that we are committed to doing our job better than before and to bringing this organization to a real place in the country which requires real effort from all parts of the organization.
